Will your skid steer attachments fit my skid steer?

Most of our skid steer attachments use the universal quick attach, so they fit the common skid steer brands. If you tell us your machine and the attachment you want, we'll confirm the fit.

Does it have 2 pump system ? Bought brush cutter that was little big for h12 but worked. Need more hydraulic.

We only have 13.5 HP. We do not have any with the filter/hydraulic cooler.

What's the difference between the Raytree 72-inch S and ST drum mulcher models?

The Raytree 72-inch S and ST drum mulchers are the same mulcher with different teeth: the S model has carbide teeth and the ST model has planer teeth. Carbide teeth are better for working down in the dirt and hold up better if you hit a rock.

What's the difference between the blue and red Raytree 72-inch high-flow drum mulcher?

The blue Raytree 72-inch high-flow forestry drum mulcher is the newer version, and the red one is the older version of the same high-flow drum mulcher.

How do you transport a Harley rake for a skid steer?

We recommend hauling a Harley rake for a skid steer on a small trailer rather than in a truck bed. With the front guide wheels on it, the wheels stick out quite a bit.

Which skid steer soil conditioner brand is best?

The Raytree, Landhonor and Arteer soil conditioners are nearly identical in design, and Chupp Industrial recommends any of the three.

What hydraulic flow does the Raytree 50-inch drum mulcher need?

The Raytree RMBD50 runs on 13 to 24 gallons per minute and weighs 1,230 pounds. The case drain hose and coupler are included.

How much hydraulic flow does the skid steer sickle bar mower need?

The skid steer sickle bar mower sold by Chupp Industrial needs 14 to 20 GPM of hydraulic flow to run at full speed. At 11 to 13 GPM the sickle bar mower still turns and runs, but it runs slower and does not cut as well as on a higher-flow skid steer.

Does the Chupp Industrial articulated mower need a machine-specific wiring harness?

No. The Chupp Industrial articulated skid steer mower comes with a universal button control and a small 12-volt power pack, so it is ready to use right off the pallet. Some companies make adapters for specific machines, but you don't need one to run the mower.

What does the control box on a skid steer drum mulcher do?

The Raytree drum mulcher control box runs on 12-volt power in the cab and opens or closes the front hydraulic flap. Open throws material out front; closed keeps it underneath for better mulching.

Why won't the electric switch on my skid steer attachment work?

The electric switch on a skid steer attachment usually works only when the skid steer's hydraulics are running through the attachment. Run the hydraulics through the attachment, then try the switch.

How thick a branch can the Wolverine sickle bar mower cut?

The Wolverine sickle bar mower cuts branches of about half to three-quarter inch diameter comfortably. The Wolverine can cut up to about two inches, but that should not be a regular habit, because the Wolverine sickle bar mower is not a tree cutter.

Can the blade on the Wolverine sickle bar mower be sharpened or replaced separately?

No. On the Wolverine sickle bar mower the blade and bar are one riveted unit, so the blade cannot be resharpened or replaced by itself. Wolverine sells a full replacement sickle bar.

Can a skid steer block crusher crush concrete and brick?

Yes. The 72-inch block crusher will crush concrete, brick and some asphalt so the material can be reused as rock.

How fine does the WIG 72 asphalt crusher crush material?

The WIG 72 asphalt crusher crushes material to about two inches or smaller, and there is no adjustment to make it finer. The WIG 72 produces a rougher base material, not a finished, smaller gravel you could grade smooth on a driveway.

Does the WIG 72 asphalt crusher scoop material or need hand-feeding?

The WIG 72 asphalt crusher is designed to scoop, so no hand-feeding is needed. The WIG 72 has a fixed, tapered cutting edge that lets you scoop directly into a pile.

Does a skid steer flail mower need extra hydraulic lines to run on a Bobcat?

No. The Chupp Industrial skid steer flail mower only needs the hydraulic hookups it comes with to run on a Bobcat.

Do you need special tools to replace the teeth on the Chupp Industrial crusher bucket?

No. The teeth on the crusher bucket sold by Chupp Industrial just screw in and screw out, so no special tools are needed.

Do drum mulchers come ready to use at pickup?

Yes. Fluids, gas and grease are all done before a drum mulcher is picked up or shipped, so it is ready to run.

Will a skid steer broom fit in a pickup truck bed?

Possibly, but it will be tight: a skid steer broom is pretty wide, and the pickup truck bed's wheel wells are the one thing that would be a problem.

Where can I buy replacement teeth for a skid steer bucket?

Chupp Industrial does not sell replacement skid steer bucket teeth, but they are easy to find online. Measure your existing teeth and search using your bucket's model number; there should be plenty of matches in the same size.

Do all skid steer concrete mixers have a side chute?

No. Some skid steer concrete mixer buckets have only a bottom discharge, with no side chute.

Will a skid steer soil conditioner fix potholes in a rock driveway?

A skid steer soil conditioner helps, but it may not fully fix potholes in a rock driveway. It turns the topsoil and rock and may push some material into the holes, but you may still need to backfill them with a bucket afterward.

Will a skid steer attachment fit a wheel loader?

Yes, a skid steer attachment fits a wheel loader if the wheel loader has the same quick-attach plate as a skid steer. The quick-attach plate is a universal fit across all skid steer manufacturers, so check the plate, not the type of machine.

Why is the case drain hose on a skid steer mower important?

The case drain hose on a skid steer mower keeps the hydraulic motor from over-pressuring if you bog the mower down. By preventing that over-pressure, the case drain hose protects the seals in the motor.

How do I keep hydraulic fluid cool when running a skid steer attachment on a tractor?

Add an inline hydraulic cooler, which is a small radiator with a 12-volt fan. Many skid steers have one from the factory, but compact tractors often do not.

Will Chupp Industrial skid steer attachments fit my brand of skid steer?

Yes, if your skid steer takes universal quick attach attachments. Chupp Industrial attachments use the universal quick attach plate, so the loader's brand matters less than its plate.

Will a universal quick attach skid steer attachment work on a Kubota skid steer?

Yes. A Chupp Industrial skid steer attachment with the universal quick attach and three hydraulic hoses with universal couplers will work with a Kubota skid steer.

How much does a skid steer concrete mixer hold?

Chupp Industrial skid steer concrete mixers hold 12.36 to 15 cubic feet of material. The JCT skid steer concrete mixer holds 15 cubic feet, and the AGT holds 12.36 cubic feet.

Can a skid steer drum mulcher grind stumps?

Yes, if you are good with your skid steer. Ease the Raytree drum mulcher down onto the stump about a quarter inch at a time.

What should I do if a skid steer attachment arrives with freight damage?

Accept the delivery instead of refusing it, take pictures of the damage and send them to Chupp Industrial so the team can see what is needed.

What is the difference between a standard-flow and high-flow skid steer drum mulcher?

A standard-flow skid steer drum mulcher runs on a skid steer with standard-flow hydraulics, and a high-flow drum mulcher is made for a high-flow skid steer. At Chupp Industrial, the 50-inch drum mulcher is the standard-flow model and the 72-inch drum mulcher is the high-flow model.

Is the Raytree 72-inch drum mulcher for a skid steer or an excavator?

The Raytree 72-inch high-flow drum mulcher is built for a high-flow skid steer, not an excavator.

What couplers come on a skid steer drum mulcher?

Chupp Industrial drum mulchers ship with standard 3/4-inch flat-face couplers that fit most equipment. Each unit is tested before it ships, and the original couplers, which are often larger overseas sizes, are boxed up and sent along in case your machine uses those instead. The mulchers also have a case drain, like most newer equipment.

My brush cutter came with a third hydraulic line I wasn't expecting. Is that a problem?

No. On a small brush cutter that third (case drain) line can be capped off; a unit that size does not need it. The big high-flow brush cutters do use a third line.

How much does the high-flow skid steer drum mulcher weigh?

Chupp Industrial's high-flow skid steer drum mulcher weighs about 2,200 pounds.

How does the 2 pump do with a grapple on it?

They do fine with attachments as long as you don't have to drive and use the auxiliary hydraulics at the same time.

Will a Kubota SVL75-3 run the Raytree 72-inch high-flow drum mulcher?

Yes, a Kubota SVL75-3 has enough high flow to run the Raytree 72-inch drum mulcher. The SVL75's high-flow range of 30 to 45 GPM is enough for the 72-inch mulcher, though a larger machine with more flow would run it even better.

Do you one that pumps the cement (typically with an auger)?

We don't have one that pumps the cement. These have a discharge hole at the bottom of the attachment with an auger in the bucket that mixes the material.

Does the case drain line affect how hot the hydraulic fluid runs on a brush cutter attachment?

No, the case drain on a brush cutter attachment does not affect how hot the hydraulic fluid runs. It is there to relieve over-pressure on the motor, not for cooling.

I'm in Memphis. I can drive up. Would it be possible to dig a hole with an auger bit?

Yes, it would. Some of the models come with the auger bits already.

How is the blue Raytree RMDM72 drum mulcher different from the red one?

The blue Raytree RMDM72 72-inch drum mulcher is the upgraded version. Compared with the red one, it has a heavier, updated case marked with a sticker, larger half-moon teeth with a curved, sawtooth style in place of the square four-corner-point teeth, and a bearing protector.

Do you have some kind of a plan or layout so I can prepare the pad and auger the concrete post holes for proper depth and anchoring?

Yes - there is aa manual in one of the 4 crates,, but we can email you one before shipping as well.

What is the third hydraulic line (case drain) on a high-flow drum mulcher for?

It's basically a relief drain - it sends hydraulic fluid back to the tank in case there's an issue with overpressurization of the mulcher.

Can a Raytree drum mulcher be run on a track loader that doesn't have a third case drain hydraulic line?

No - our tech confirmed it will not work without that third case drain line; running it without one will blow up the motor.

Will a skid steer auger attachment hook up to a Kubota?

Yes. A skid steer auger with a universal quick attach plate hooks up to a Kubota skid steer or compact track loader that has the standard quick-attach.
