- A fabric building’s strength and durability comes down to its materials, proper installation, and proper maintenance, as well as mild vs harsh weather environments. The steel frame should last 20+ years, while the covers vary based upon the fabric. Here’s an estimated lifespan of fabric before it starts to wear and may need replaced: 10.5/11 oz. - How do you anchor a fabric building against strong wind, and does it come with anchors?
- A Covermore tension fabric building comes with plenty of drive-in ground anchors, and the best reinforcement against strong wind is to pour small concrete piers and anchor the base plates to them. You can put piers at the corners and then every other position along the sides; you do not need a pier at every one. Stakes driven into loose or fresh gravel can pull out in very strong straight-line winds, so hard-packed ground holds better. The building itself has a rigid frame.

- A pole tent fits an event, brief cover, or something you will move. A tension fabric building fits working space, storage and long-term cover.
