- The 26-foot-wide shelter uses a single pipe frame, while the 40x40 uses a truss frame, which is a lot stronger. Both are good structures and have been sold for about four years.
- What is a container shelter cover made of and how long does it last?
- A Covermore container shelter cover is 15 oz PVC and should last about 10 to 12 years. The Covermore team has the same cover on buildings that are about eight years old and show no signs of wear.
- Can a winch roll-up door go on both ends of a Covermore shelter?
- Yes. A winch roll-up door system can be installed on both ends of a Covermore shelter, and Covermore has customers who do that.
- Can a container shelter mount on the outside of the containers?
- Yes. Every Covermore container shelter can be mounted on the outside of the containers, and it is a very common way to mount them. You just lose some space in between because of the containers.
- What is the largest container shelter size?
- Covermore container shelters go up to 40x40.
- How much clearance does a container shelter give on 3-foot blocks?
- The Covermore 26x40 single pipe shelter stands 10 feet above its mount, so 3-foot concrete blocks give 13 feet of clearance in the middle.
- Do the end walls come in the main crate with a Covermore building?
- Yes. The end walls for a Covermore building ship inside the main crate. If the crate arrives damaged in shipping, check the contents for damage and let Covermore know.
- Do Covermore fabric shelters have wind ratings?
- No. Covermore fabric shelters do not have wind ratings. For inclement weather, Covermore recommends the upgraded dual truss.
- Can a 50x100 fabric building be mounted on shipping containers?
- Not as designed. Covermore's 50x100 fabric building is not designed to go on shipping containers; Covermore container shelters are made for 20-foot and 40-foot-long containers. A customized setup might still work for your needs.
- Can a container shelter ship to a freight terminal for pickup?
- Yes. A Covermore container shelter can ship will-call to a freight terminal, and the terminal calls when it arrives so you can pick it up. No liftgate is provided that way, so it works best if you have your own way to unload it, like a tractor with forks.
- Is shipping included in a Covermore building quote?
- No. Shipping for a Covermore building is quoted separately. The crates are about 10 feet long, so they have to go out on a flatbed truck.
