Used rough terrain scissor lifts from Genie, Skyjack and Haulotte, with platform heights from 26 to 40 feet. Compare height, capacity and hours across the six units listed below.
How to choose a rough terrain scissor lift
Start with the work height, then check capacity. Platform height is what the platform reaches; working height adds reach for the person on it.
- 26 ft platform height: the 2018 Genie GS-2669 RT and the 2018 Skyjack SJ-6826RT. Both list 1,500 pounds of lift capacity and a 32 ft working height.
- 32 to 33 ft platform height: the 2018 Genie GS-3369 RT (32 ft 8 in, 1,000 pounds) and the 2023 Haulotte 3368 RT (33 ft, 1,000 pounds).
- 40 ft platform height: two 2018 Genie GS-4069 RT units, each with 800 pounds of capacity and a 46 ft 3 in working height.
Higher platforms here come with lower rated capacity. If you carry heavy tools or materials, weigh capacity as seriously as reach.
