Electric Scissor Lifts

Start with platform height and capacity

Platform height is the number in most model names, and working height is about 6 ft higher. Match both to the job.

• 19 ft platform (about 25 ft working height): Genie GS-1930, Skyjack SJ3219 and SJIII 3219, JLG 1932R and MEC 1930SE. Most are 500 lb, and the MEC is 550 lb.
• 25-26 ft platform: Genie GS-2632, Skyjack SJ3226 and SJIII 3226, plus the JLG 2646ES and Skyjack SJ-4626 at 1,000 lb.
• 32-33 ft platform: Genie GS-3232 at 500 lb, Genie GS-3246 at 700 lb, JLG 3246ES at 1,000 lb and XCMG XG1330DC at 500 lb.
• 38-40 ft platform: Genie GS-4047, listed at 550 lb or 770 lb depending on the unit.

Capacity covers people, tools and materials together, so add up your load before choosing.

Check width and weight

Narrow machines suit doorways and aisles. The Genie GS-1930 is about 2 ft 6 in wide, and several Skyjack and JLG 19 ft models are 32 in. The 46 in and 47 in models (JLG 3246ES, JLG 2646ES, Genie GS-4047) give more capacity but need wider openings. Weight matters for floors, trailers and elevators, and the listings give it for many units. Compare it before you buy.

Compare condition, hours and batteries

Listings differ in what they show:

• Many 2017-2021 units list a year, hours and new batteries installed before delivery.
• The refurbished Genie GS1930 and GS3232 come with new batteries, paint and tires, and they carry a 30-day warranty with eligibility limits listed on the product page.
• Some used Genie GS-1930, GS-2632 and Skyjack SJIII listings show a typical hour range and ask you to call for availability, not a specific year.

Read each listing's hours, year and battery notes. Financing is marked on the listings where it is available.
