Fabric Building Replacement Covers: What to Know to Order

Covermore sells replacement covers for its tension fabric buildings. A replacement cover set is fabric only, and ordering one starts with your building's size, roof style and a measurement over the top.

What comes in a replacement cover set?

A Covermore replacement cover set includes the top cover and the material for both end walls. It is fabric only, with no frame parts.

What does Covermore need to quote a replacement cover?

Covermore needs the building's size and whether the roof is round or peak. A round roof curves in one continuous arch from side to side. A peak roof rises to a point along the ridge.

How is a custom replacement cover measured?

A custom Covermore replacement cover is measured from the outside of the baseplate on one side, up and over the building, to the outside of the baseplate on the other side. Covermore can send a drawing that shows where that measurement runs. For a building whose original cover came in two pieces, Covermore can special order a replacement in one piece.

How much ground clearance does a custom cover leave?

A custom Covermore replacement cover can be built with whatever ground clearance you want at the bottom: 6 inches, 12 inches or anywhere in between. Without a preference, Covermore leaves a buffer of about 3 to 4 inches, because cover material can stretch a little over time.

How does the cover fasten down at the bottom?

A Covermore replacement cover cinches down with a web strap sewn into the cover, not a plain drawstring. Web strap is flat woven strapping, and it makes for a durable cover.
