Do Fabric Buildings Ship to Hawaii, Alaska or Canada?

1 min readCovermore Buildings

Covermore fabric buildings don't ship to Alaska or Canada, but you can ship to Hawaii through a mainland address and arrange the last leg yourself.

Covermore fabric buildings do not ship to Alaska or Canada, and they do not ship directly to Hawaii, though a Hawaii buyer can still get one by way of a mainland address. Everywhere else in the US, Covermore ships its fabric buildings, container shelters and container roof kits as prefabricated kits, and a container shelter can go overseas through a freight forwarder.

How Do Covermore Fabric Buildings Ship?

Covermore fabric buildings and container shelters ship long distance on a flatbed truck, and you will need a dock or forklift to unload the kit when it arrives. Covermore sells the building or shelter as a kit and does not install it, so plan for the buyer or a local crew to put it up.

Can a Fabric Building Ship to Hawaii Through a Mainland Address?

Covermore does not ship fabric buildings directly to Hawaii, but a Hawaii buyer can still get one through a mainland address. Covermore has shipped to a mainland location, such as California or Washington, and the buyer arranged the onward shipping to the islands from there.

Can a Fabric Building Ship to Alaska or Canada?

Covermore does not ship fabric buildings to Alaska or Canada. The same goes for its container shelters and container roof kits: none of these kits ship to either place.

Can a Container Shelter Ship Overseas?

Covermore can send a container shelter overseas by shipping it to the buyer's freight forwarder for export, and it has shipped container shelters to forwarders in Florida before. The process works like this:

  1. The buyer arranges a freight forwarder and gives Covermore the forwarder's address.
  2. Covermore ships the container shelter to that forwarder.
  3. The buyer handles the export once the forwarder receives the shelter.
