A Covermore container shelter kit includes the framework and the main cover. Here is what comes in the container shelter kit, what is sold separately, how tall the shelter stands on your containers and who puts it up.

What's Included in a Container Shelter Kit?

The base container shelter package comes with:

  • The framework. On the 7-arch dual truss container shelter, the frame has seven arches plus extra diagonal bracing across the top, added to help support snow load.
  • The main cover. The cover is 30 oz PVC. PVC is a stretchy material that lasts longer than polyethylene (PE).

Are Walls Included in a Container Shelter Kit?

No. Full enclosure walls are not part of the base package. They are sold separately as an option, so decide whether you want an enclosed space before you order.

How Tall Is a Container Shelter Once It's on the Containers?

On a 40x40x15 container shelter, the 15 is the height of the arch itself. Once that shelter is mounted on top of containers, the top of the structure is about 24 to 25 feet in the air.

Does Covermore Install the Container Shelter?

No. Covermore ships container shelters nationwide as prefabricated kits, and the buyer or a local crew installs the shelter.

Can You Buy Just the Cover Material?

No. Covermore doesn't sell raw cover material by itself. If your cover is damaged, for example in a storm, the option is a replacement cover made to fit your specific shelter, which Covermore offers through a company it works with.
