Mini skid steer grapples for moving brush, logs, rock and debris. This page lists three options: two 44-inch grapple buckets and one hydraulic timber grapple, all for compact loaders.

Bucket grapple or log grapple

The three grapples on this page work differently, so start with the material you move most.

  • Grapple buckets carry loose material and clamp it down. The 44″ Mini Skid Steer Grapple Bucket is a flat bottom design for brush, logs, debris, rocks and limbs. The Landhonor MRB-72-44W is a tined rock grapple for rock, brush, roots and demolition debris.
  • Timber grapple: the Vorx NL400LG uses hydraulic clamping and curved steel tines for logs, branches and debris. It is listed with a 125 kg (about 276 lb) weight capacity.

Specs to compare

  • Width: both buckets are 44 inches wide.
  • Opening: the flat bottom bucket has a 24″ grapple opening. The Landhonor opens to 26 in.
  • Tine spacing: the Landhonor has 2.25 in spacing, so smaller material can fall through while rock and roots stay held. The flat bottom bucket does not list tine spacing.
  • Weight: the Landhonor weighs 312 lbs. Check this against your machine's lift rating.
  • Hydraulics: the flat bottom bucket lists a 1-1/2″ x 6″ cylinder and 3000 PSI operating pressure. The Landhonor lists 2500 psi maximum pressure. Confirm your machine's auxiliary hydraulic output and coupler type before ordering.
  • Depth: the flat bottom bucket is 16″ deep.

Specs not shown in a listing, such as the Vorx dimensions, are not given here. Check the product page before you buy.
