Which ShelterLogic shelters we cover
Round-top and peak-style shelters, portable garages (AutoShelter, Garage-in-a-Box), Shed-in-a-Box sheds and their larger barn-style shelters. Because every cover is cut to your measurements, the model number matters less than the size of your frame.
Measuring a ShelterLogic frame
Measure the bare frame, not the old cover, which stretches and shrinks over time. Over the arch: from the bottom rail on one side, over the top, to the bottom rail on the other side — for a peak-style frame, run the tape over the peak. Length: first arch to last arch. In the calculator, pick round or straight side walls to match your frame.
When the ShelterLogic kit is the better buy
For a small, current model, a factory cover kit is usually cheaper and fits out of the box. A custom cover pays off on large frames, discontinued models, frames that have been changed, or when you want our 12.5 oz, 23 mil fabric and 15-year prorated warranty.
When a custom cover makes sense
- Your model is discontinued and the factory cover kit is no longer sold.
- You have a large shelter or barn, or a frame that has been modified or extended.
- You want a 12.5 oz, 23 mil fabric with a 15-year prorated warranty.

ShelterLogic cover questions
How much does a ShelterLogic shelter, garage or barn replacement cover cost?
About $1.50 per square foot of fabric, measured over the arch. A frame that measures 30 ft over the arch and 20 ft long is 600 sq ft, about $900 before freight. Freight is a flat $500 per cover anywhere in the US, or pick up free in Chouteau, Oklahoma.
What is the cover made of?
12.5 oz, 23 mil polyethylene fabric with a 15-year prorated warranty. Made to order in the USA, about 4 weeks.
Is a custom cover cheaper than a ShelterLogic cover kit?
Often not for the smaller sizes. If ShelterLogic still sells a cover kit for your model, check that price too. A custom cover is the answer when your model is discontinued, your frame is a size they don't make, or you want our fabric and warranty.
How do I measure my ShelterLogic frame?
Two numbers. Over the arch: from the base rail on one side, up and over the top of the frame, down to the base rail on the other side. Length: from the first arch to the last. Measure the frame, not the old cover.
Are you ShelterLogic?
No. We are Covermore Buildings in Chouteau, Oklahoma. We are not affiliated with ShelterLogic; we make custom replacement covers sized to your frame, and the brand name is here only so you know the cover fits that kind of building.
