Built for working barns

Hay storage, livestock, equipment and shop space — hoop barns take wind, sun and hail year after year, and the cover is the part that wears out. We make the replacement to your barn's measurements, so an older barn whose maker is gone can still get a new cover.

Measuring a hoop barn

Over the arch: from the base rail on one side, up over the top, down to the base rail on the other — on a tall barn this is a two-person job with a long tape. Length: first arch to last arch. We add about 12 to 16 inches of overhang on each end by default.

End walls and colors

Tell us when you order if you need end walls. Before anything is made, we confirm the pieces, size and colors with you.

When a custom cover makes sense

  • Your barn's original maker is gone or no longer sells covers.
  • The building is large — covers are priced by the square foot, so you see the real number up front.
  • You want a 12.5 oz, 23 mil fabric with a 15-year prorated warranty.

Hoop Barn cover questions

How much does a hoop barn or quonset-style building replacement cover cost?

About $1.50 per square foot of fabric, measured over the arch. A frame that measures 30 ft over the arch and 20 ft long is 600 sq ft, about $900 before freight. Freight is a flat $500 per cover anywhere in the US, or pick up free in Chouteau, Oklahoma.

What is the cover made of?

12.5 oz, 23 mil polyethylene fabric with a 15-year prorated warranty. Made to order in the USA, about 4 weeks.
