The 50-inch standard-flow model, the RMBD50, is rated for 13 to 24 GPM and weighs 1,230 pounds. It ships with its case drain hose and coupler included. A case drain is a third hose that sends hydraulic fluid back to the machine's tank.

How does the 72-inch mulcher hook up?

The 72-inch is built for a high-flow skid steer, not an excavator. As a high-flow mulcher, it hooks up with a female and a male hydraulic hose plus a case drain line that sends the fluid back to the tank.

Will the couplers fit my skid steer?

Yes, for most equipment. These mulchers come with case drains, like most newer equipment. Each unit is tested before it ships, and its couplers are swapped to standard 3/4-inch flat-face fittings that fit most equipment.

The newer blue 72-inch, the RMDM72, is an upgraded version of the older red one. It has a heavier, updated case, marked with a sticker so you can tell it from the red model.

It also swaps the older square teeth, which had four corner points, for larger half-moon teeth with a curved, sawtooth shape, and it adds a bearing protector.
