Hydraulically driven flail mower attachment for excavators in the 3-8 ton class, with a mounting coupler set up for the CAT308 quick-attach interface. Self-leveling skid shoes keep the cutting head flat on uneven ground, which helps on slopes, riverbanks, and ditch banks.
The cutter drum runs on a belt-drive transmission off a hydraulic motor with oil-in, oil-out, and drain ports, and carries 24 flail knives across a 45in cutting width with a 4in cutting capacity. Hydraulic flow needed is 10-16 GPM at up to 2900 PSI auxiliary pressure. A 3/8in case drain line is required and routes back to the excavator's own reservoir.
Ships one unit per plywood crate, 57 x 33 x 23in, at 695 lbs. Comes with a 1-year manufacturer warranty. Coupler pin size is 45mm.
