The ATS NT18K 1.4-Ton Mini Excavator is a compact diesel machine built for digging, trenching, and material handling in tight spaces. It is powered by a Kubota diesel engine and features a side-swing boom, which lets the operator offset the boom to dig alongside walls, fence lines, and foundations without repositioning the machine.
At roughly 1.4 tons, the NT18K fits through gates and between buildings where a full-size excavator cannot go, while still carrying the reach and breakout force to handle footings, drainage, utility trenching, and stump work. Rubber tracks keep ground pressure low, so it can work on finished lawns and soft ground with less damage than a wheeled machine.
Auxiliary hydraulic ports allow compatible attachments — augers, breakers, thumbs and grapples — to run off the machine, making it a year-round tool rather than a single-job unit.
